The fifth concert of the "Musical Revivals 2024" Festival illuminated the splendid Church of San Carlo in Cazzago Brabbia (Va), filling the evening of the audience with emotions and beauty. Organized by the ARTandCHARITY association in collaboration with the Jupiter Foundation, the event was a great success, confirming itself as a must-attend event for classical music enthusiasts.
A Warm Welcome from the Authorities
As usual, the president of ARTandCHARITY Giovanni Tommasi warmly welcomed the audience, introducing the evening and thanking the participants for their contribution to the association's solidarity cause. He then gave the floor to Don Walter Sosio, parish priest of the Church of San Carlo, who was able to create a moment of reflection and contemplation, emphasizing the importance of art as a means of unity and mutual support.
Later, Anna, a mother of a boy who attends Cooperativa Magari Domani Onlus, shared a touching testimony on the importance of the project "DOPO DI NOI". Her story drew attention to the mission of the project, which helps young disabled people build an independent and autonomous life, supporting families and the young people themselves in a path towards greater inclusion and dignity. Her words, full of emotion and sincere gratitude, deeply touched all those present.
Even the mayor of Cazzago Brabbia, Davide Bossi, intervened to convey his greetings and thanks. He emphasized the importance of initiatives like these for the community, praising the work of the organizers and the beauty of a music festival capable of engaging and raising awareness on such significant topics.
The Artists and the Music Program
The evening was enriched by a trio of talented musicians. Nausicaa Nisati, a contralto with a warm and deep voice, enchanted the listeners with expressive interpretations. Issei Watanabe on cello, with his virtuosity and profound musical sensitivity, added intensity and poetry to every note. Bruna Panella on harpsichord completed the ensemble with refined mastery, transporting the audience back in time to rediscover ancient and timeless music.
The music program, curated with great attention, celebrated some of the greatest Italian Baroque composers. The works of Antonio Vivaldi, Girolamo Frescobaldi, Barbara Strozzi, and Domenico Scarlatti filled the church with enveloping and engaging sounds, offering a unique and evocative sensory experience.
An Evening of Music and Solidarity
In addition to celebrating music, the concert had a very important charitable purpose. The event invited participants to make a free and conscious donation, destined to support the "DOPO DI NOI" project, an initiative that aims to accompany young people with disabilities towards autonomy, helping them build a more independent and inclusive life.
The Magic of the Church of San Carlo
The choice of the Church of San Carlo in Cazzago Brabbia as the setting for the event contributed to making the evening even more special. Immersed in an atmosphere of contemplation and architectural beauty, the church provided the ideal environment to enhance the power and intensity of Baroque music. The magic of the place and the excellence of the artists created a perfect harmony, combining art, culture, and solidarity in a touching experience.
