Culture made a stop in Sumirago with an extraordinary event in the evocative Sala Dal Bello, which welcomed music and literature enthusiasts for an evening of the highest level. The meeting, organized by ARTandCHARITY and Fondazione Jupiter with the patronage of the Municipality of Sumirago, featured prominent figures from the artistic and musical scene, consolidating the importance of synergy between art and territory.
To open the evening, Giovanni Tommasi, president of the association ARTandCHARITY, greeted the audience, emphasizing the value of culture as a tool for social and collective growth. Following this, the mayor of Sumirago, Ivonne Beccegato, expressed her gratitude for the organization of the event, calling it "a precious gift for the community".
The heart of the event was the presentation of the book “Le ali nel canto”, written by the renowned tenor Marco Chingari, who with this work ventures into the literary world. The book, a journey between notes and words, was explored through the questions of the famous conductor M° Giorgio Rodolfo Marini, who skillfully highlighted the themes and emotions contained in the writing.
The evening continued with the awarding of the 7th edition of the "Carlo Sanvitale" International Composition Competition, directed by Maestro Giacomo Di Tollo. This prestigious recognition celebrates compositional talents from around the world every year, highlighting original and innovative works.
The audience had the opportunity to listen to extraordinary performances of unpublished pieces, masterfully interpreted by an exceptional string quartet: Andrea Bordonali and Ivan Zarrilli on violins, Marco Cavallone on viola, and Salvatore Musso on cello. The musicians provided moments of pure emotion, once again demonstrating the universal power of music to touch people's hearts.
The evening concluded with the warm applause of the audience, grateful for an event that successfully combined art, literature, and music into a unique experience. ARTandCHARITY, once again, proves to be an entity capable of transforming culture into a bridge for dialogue and sharing, remaining faithful to its mission of uniting beauty and solidarity.
A special applause goes to all the organizers and protagonists who made this unforgettable meeting possible, enriching Sumirago with a moment of great artistic and human value.
