Last weekend, the striking setting of the Church of Saints Peter and Paul in Daverio hosted the concert "Centennial Anniversaries", the 2nd of eight concerts of the 5th edition of the event "Musical Revivals" organized by ARTandCHARITY and by the Jupiter Foundation, which enchanted the audience with a music experience of rare beauty. The protagonists of the evening were two exceptionally talented pianists: Annamaria Cigoli, known for her refined artistic sensibility, and her student Christian Puligheddu, a young promise of classical music. The two pianists were accompanied by the Insubria Chamber Orchestra, under the direction of M° Giorgio Rodolfo Marini, offering a performance that managed to touch the strings of the soul.
As usual, the president of ARTandCHARITY, Giovanni Tommasi, opened the evening with a warm welcome, thanking the audience for their continuous support to the association's initiatives that combine art and solidarity.
Following the Parish Priest of Daverio Don Valter Sosio, the Councillor for Social Services and Culture Silvia Gheza and the Mayor of Daverio, Marco Colombo, took the floor, emphasizing the importance of the music festival for the community and the high value of the charitable purposes of ARTandCHARITY.
The concert, characterized by an extraordinary performance intensity, reached its peak with the interpretation of famous pieces that fascinated the audience, who responded with long and warm applause, even requesting several encores, demonstrating the great success of the evening.
ARTandCHARITY does not stop here: the next event is already scheduled for Saturday, October 12th at 9:00 PM at Sala Piotti in Albizzate, where a "Tribute to Puccini" will take place. On stage, the soprano Marianna Iencarelli, the tenor Edoardo Manzardo, and the pianist Matteo Failla will perform, promising another evening of great music.
Do not miss the opportunity to experience these unique moments of art and solidarity.
