On Thursday 16 April 2026, at the municipal multi-purpose hall in Brunello, the second event of the cultural series “GIOVEdìBRUNELLO”, organized by the association ARTandCHARITY O.D.V., took place, once again confirming the strong interest and participation of the public.
The evening, entitled “The signatures of medieval artists”, featured Professor Lorenzo Dominioni, who was able to guide those present on a fascinating journey to discover the traces left by artists of the past: signatures, symbols and inscriptions carved in stone, precious testimonies of identity, pride and artistic awareness in an era often considered anonymous.

Through the projection of images of works kept in Italy and abroad, the speaker illustrated with skill and passion a theme as original as it is little known, offering new insights into the role of the artist in the Middle Ages and the birth of an authorial awareness that still speaks to us today.
The Mayor of Brunello, Andrea Dall’Osto, also took part in the meeting, and his presence testified to the closeness and attention of the municipal Administration toward cultural initiatives of value for the area. The large and engaged audience followed the entire presentation with great attention, taking part with questions and reflections in the final discussion, showing the interest aroused and the quality of the meeting.
The “GIOVEdìBRUNELLO” series takes place with the patronage of the Municipality of Brunello, the Province of Varese and the Region of Lombardy, confirming the importance recognized to a project that combines cultural outreach and social commitment.
Evenings like this fully represent the spirit of ARTandCHARITY O.D.V.: promoting culture and art as tools for personal and collective growth, but also as a concrete vehicle of solidarity. The association’s initiatives, in fact, do not have only an educational purpose, but also help support social projects, including the “After Us” project, dedicated to guiding young people toward ever greater autonomy.
The positive feedback received confirms the value of the series and strengthens enthusiasm for the next events. The public is already invited to take part in the third meeting, scheduled for Thursday 23 April, entitled “Mozart: the characters and the feelings”, curated by Maestro Davide Cervi.
A journey that continues, evening after evening, weaving together culture, emotions and social commitment.
