There is a moment, in the life of an association, when you truly feel seen.
For ARTandCHARITY O.D.V., that moment arrived on Saturday, December 6, 2025, when at the Salone Estense in Varese we received the Honorable Mention as part of the twenty-sixth edition of the Sole d’Oro Award, an award promoted by CSV Insubria Varese and Como.
An immense emotion, which reminded us how the time given, the passion, and the culture we share are truly capable of changing the world — one piece at a time.
To collect the certificate, on behalf of our entire organization, was the President Giovanni Tommasi, accompanied by the secretary and founder of the Association, Manuela Codazzi, the beating heart of our activities since day one.
A recognition that we feel is deeply ours, but that above all belongs to the people: volunteers, artists, supporters, friends. To all of you.

An award that celebrates those who build rights and community
The Sole d’Oro Award, now in its 26th edition, is dedicated to volunteers, associations, groups, and young people who, through their daily commitment, make the rights of people and communities a reality.
The ceremony, also broadcast live via streaming, saw the participation of the municipalities where the awardees reside and the announcement of the main novelty for 2025: the presentation of the Bilancio in Valore, an innovative model for measuring the economic and social value generated by volunteering.
A simple and revolutionary idea at the same time:
many rights do not live in documents, but in relationships, in the time given, in the daily care provided by associations.
The Bilancio in Valore — born in the Municipality of Caronno Pertusella and presented during the ceremony by prominent figures such as Marco Maiocchi, Giorgio Turconi, and Maria Croci — showed how the activities of volunteers can generate measurable public value, transforming civic engagement into a real driver of community policies. The Municipality of Malnate, for example, is already structurally adopting this model, involving various local associations.
Why this Honorable Mention means so much to us
Receiving the Honorable Mention is not just a symbolic gratification.
For us, it represents a strong and clear signal that our way of “creating culture,” together and for others, leaves real traces.
Every concert, every exhibition, every meeting, every solidarity trip… everything we have built over these years has an impact that goes beyond the event itself: it generates relationships, creates opportunities, supports social projects, gives a voice to those in need.
And knowing that this commitment has been recognized in such a prestigious context as the Sole d’Oro Award fills us with pride and gives us a huge boost for the future.
Thank you. Truly.
Our gratitude goes to:
- to CSV Insubria, for having created an award that values the most authentic essence of volunteering;
- to the volunteers and to all those who bring our projects to life;
- to the members, supporters, and companies who believe in us;
- to the municipalities and communities that welcome us and walk with us.
- A special thank you goes to the Municipality of Brunello, and in particular to Mayor Andrea Dall'Osto, who believed in our project from the very beginning, offering us a venue and supporting us with constant availability and attention.
This Honorable Mention is a gift, but also a responsibility: to continue promoting culture, art, and solidarity with renewed enthusiasm.
And we are more than ready to do it.
Together.
